1. What SERVPLZ Is (and Is Not)

1.1 A directory, not a service provider. SERVPLZ is an online directory and information platform. It connects users ("Users", "you") with independent, third-party service providers ("Providers") who list their services on the Platform. SERVPLZ does not itself provide, perform, manage, or control any of the services listed — including document assistance, banking agent services, tax filing, travel bookings, repairs, tuition, or any other listed service.

1.2 No agency or partnership. Providers are independent businesses or individuals. They are not employees, agents, partners, franchisees, or representatives of SERVPLZ. Any engagement, quotation, contract, payment, or dispute is strictly between you and the Provider. SERVPLZ is not a party to, and bears no responsibility for, any agreement or transaction between Users and Providers.

1.3 Limited review of listings. Provider registrations and service suggestions are reviewed by an administrator before publication. This review is for basic completeness, relevance, and content-quality purposes only. It does not mean that SERVPLZ has verified a Provider's identity, credentials, qualifications, licences, permits, background, or quality of work, and it must not be read as an endorsement or recommendation.

1.4 Intermediary status. SERVPLZ functions as an "intermediary" within the meaning of the Information Technology Act, 2000, hosting third-party content (Provider listings, reviews, and suggestions). SERVPLZ claims the safe-harbour protection available to intermediaries under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, to the extent applicable.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

2.1 You must be at least 13 years of age to use SERVPLZ, and at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your state) to register an account, register as a Provider, or submit a review. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2.2 You may sign in using Google Sign-In or another authentication method we make available. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@servplz.co.in if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

2.3 You may browse the public directory without an account. Certain features — such as registering as a Provider, suggesting a service, or writing a review — require you to be signed in.

2.4 You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time via our Data Deletion page, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Terms for Users

3.1 Do your own diligence. Before engaging any Provider, independently verify their identity, experience, qualifications, licence or registration (where the service legally requires one), pricing, and timelines. For government-related services (PAN, Aadhaar, voter ID, ration card, certificates, licences, etc.), cross-check requirements and fees against the relevant official government portal or office.

3.2 Sensitive documents. Some services (e.g., PAN card, Aadhaar, passport, tax filing) require you to share identity documents or personal information directly with Providers. You share such information with Providers at your own discretion and risk. SERVPLZ does not collect, store, or process these documents, and is not responsible for how a Provider handles them. Never share OTPs, passwords, or banking PINs with anyone claiming to represent SERVPLZ.

3.3 Payments. SERVPLZ does not process, hold, or guarantee any payment between Users and Providers. All fees, charges, advances, refunds, and payment disputes are matters solely between you and the Provider. We recommend agreeing on the total cost, scope of work, and expected timeline in writing before work begins, and asking for a receipt for every payment.

3.4 No guarantee of outcomes. Listing of a Provider or service does not guarantee that any application, filing, booking, or job will be approved, accepted, completed on time, or completed at all. Government approvals, bank decisions, and similar outcomes depend entirely on the issuing authority.

3.5 Your conduct. You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse Provider contact details (e.g., for spam, harassment, or unsolicited marketing).

4. Terms for Providers

4.1 Accurate and lawful listings. As a Provider, you must ensure that all information you submit (business name, contact details, service descriptions, fees, qualifications, and any other content) is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right, licence, registration, or qualification to perform each service you list, where such licence, registration, or qualification is required by law.

4.2 No illegal or harmful services. You must not list, advertise, or offer any service that is illegal, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful, or that you do not actually intend or have the ability to perform. You are solely responsible for the legality, quality, safety, and delivery of services you perform.

4.3 Compliance with applicable law. Providers are responsible for compliance with all laws, regulations, professional standards, tax obligations (including GST, income tax, and any local business taxes), and licensing requirements applicable to the services they offer.

4.4 User information. If a User shares documents, personal data, or other information with you in connection with a service, you must handle that information lawfully, securely, and only for the purpose of providing that service. You must not retain, share, or use such information for unrelated marketing or any other purpose without the User's separate consent.

4.5 No spam or unauthorised marketing. You must not use contact details obtained from the Platform to send Users unsolicited marketing, promotional, or bulk messages, or to add them to mailing lists without their consent.

4.6 Approval and rejection. We may approve, reject, or remove any Provider listing or service suggestion at our discretion, including listings that are incomplete, duplicate, irrelevant, misleading, or in breach of these Terms. Where required by law, we will provide a reason for rejection.

5. User-Generated Content

5.1 Your licence to SERVPLZ. When you submit reviews, comments, service suggestions, or other content to SERVPLZ, you grant SERVPLZ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute that content on the Platform, and to use it for the operation, promotion, and improvement of the Platform, subject to our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your content.

5.2 You are responsible for your content. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, including its accuracy, legality, and non-infringement. You must not submit content that is false, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.

5.3 No review manipulation. Providers must not post fake or incentivised reviews of their own services or of competitors. Users must not post reviews of services they did not actually use. We may remove reviews that appear fake, are part of a quid-pro-quo arrangement, or are otherwise in breach of these Terms.

5.4 Removal. We may remove or restrict access to any user-generated content at any time, including for breach of these Terms or applicable law.

6. Reviews and Ratings

6.1 Reviews are moderated. Reviews are submitted by Users for moderation by an administrator before they appear publicly. We may edit or remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic, or otherwise in breach of these Terms.

6.2 No retaliation. Providers must not threaten, pressure, or retaliate against Users for leaving any review, including a negative review.

6.3 No guarantee of accuracy. Reviews reflect the personal opinion of the individual User who wrote them. SERVPLZ does not endorse or verify any review and is not responsible for the opinions expressed in reviews.

7. Third-Party Services and Availability

7.1 Links to third parties. The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services that we do not own or control (for example, Google Sign-In, government portals, or maps). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7.2 Third-party services. The Platform relies on third-party services (hosting, database, Google Sign-In, maps, analytics, email). Your use of those features is also subject to the respective third parties' terms and privacy policies. SERVPLZ is not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content.

7.3 Availability. We aim to keep SERVPLZ available and up to date, but the Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, with or without notice. We do not warrant that listings, contact details, or prices shown are always current.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to encourage unlawful acts;
• create fake accounts, fake listings, or fake reviews, or manipulate ratings;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-copy, or harvest listings, contact details, or other data from the Platform by automated means, or use them to build a competing database or for mass messaging;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems, or probe/test vulnerabilities without written permission;
• interfere with the Platform's operation, including by introducing malware or excessive load;
• misuse Provider or User contact information obtained through the Platform; or
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation, including by falsely claiming to represent SERVPLZ or any government authority.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

9. Intellectual Property

The SERVPLZ name, logo, website design, database structure, and original content are the property of SERVPLZ (or its licensors) and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Providers retain rights in their own business names, marks, and content, and grant SERVPLZ the licence described in Section 5.1 for display on the Platform. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of the directory without our written permission, except as permitted by law.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

10.1 The Platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and availability.

10.2 SERVPLZ does not warrant or guarantee: the truth, accuracy, or legality of any listing, review, or Provider claim; the identity, credentials, quality, safety, or conduct of any Provider; the outcome of any service; or uninterrupted, error-free operation of the Platform.

10.3 Inclusion of a Provider in the directory is not an endorsement, recommendation, verification, or certification by SERVPLZ. You deal with Providers entirely at your own risk.

10.4 For government-document, banking, tax, and legal-adjacent services listed on the Platform, SERVPLZ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Government of India, any State Government, UIDAI, NSDL/Protean, any bank, or any other authority. Always confirm requirements, official fees, and authorised channels with the relevant authority.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, SERVPLZ and its owners, administrators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from or relating to: (a) your use of, or inability to use, the Platform; (b) any act, omission, error, negligence, fraud, or misconduct of any Provider or User; (c) any transaction, agreement, payment, or dispute between a User and a Provider; or (d) unauthorised access to, or loss of, your data.

11.2 Where liability cannot be excluded by law, SERVPLZ's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Platform shall not exceed the greater of ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand) or the amount, if any, you paid to SERVPLZ for using the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11.3 You acknowledge that SERVPLZ is a free public directory and that these limitations reflect a reasonable allocation of risk and form an essential basis of the bargain between the parties.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SERVPLZ, its owners, and administrators from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or third-party right; (c) content you submit to the Platform; or (d) if you are a Provider, any service you perform, fail to perform, or are engaged to perform, and any dispute between you and any User.

13. Suspension and Termination

13.1 You may stop using SERVPLZ at any time and may request account deletion as described in Section 2.4.

13.2 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, and remove your listing or content, at any time and for any reason — including breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, repeated complaints, or legal requirement — with or without notice. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15) will survive.

14. Government and Legal Takedown Requests

We may remove or restrict access to listings, reviews, or other content: (a) upon direction of a court, the Government, or an authorised agency under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder; or (b) upon receiving a credible legal complaint (for example, of defamation, impersonation, or intellectual-property infringement), subject to our review. 15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

15.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and, where state law applies, the laws of West Bengal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15.2 Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us. If unresolved, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hooghly, West Bengal, India.

15.3 Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.

16. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, any user having a grievance regarding content or use of the Platform may contact our Grievance Officer:

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, our practices, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide a notice on the website. Your continued use of SERVPLZ after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform.

18. Miscellaneous

18.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SERVPLZ regarding the Platform.

18.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

18.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.

18.4 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

18.5 Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
